Since the very early eighties I've used and worked on computers, so I consider myself old soul in this world of techno babble. I'm an old school hacker (And NOT what mass media currently calls a hacker; those are crackers, delinquents or criminals... *get off my lawn!*...)

I'm currently employed at a small manufacturing plant where I'm a "Jack of all trades": Including being a Network Administrator, a Programmer, a DBA, working Support / Help Desk, A Systems Administrator, a "Phone Guy", a Webmaster or... whatever is needed that relates to electronics or computers in some fashion.

I spend most of my time using a Windows desktop, usually with serveral copies of PuTTY SSHed into various unix boxes with screen running (and screens within screen). I'm familar with most *ix server daemons (apache, samba, sendmail, xinetd, openssh, jabberd, squid, mysqld, etc.,.. etc.,..) but rarely use an actual *ix desktop or GUI application.

I dabble in/work with: <runon>Delphi/Turbo Pascal, BASIC PEEKing and POKEing ;), TCL/TK, PHP, C, x86 ASM, shell scripts, MS-DOS device drivers, VB, VBS, Javascript (and AJAX), perl, CGIs, ircII/BitchX/irssi scripting, HTML, C++, 80C51 ASM., SQL, Windows (all flavors) and *IX (mostly Linux and BSD).</runon>
