Welcome to my little corner of Egypt
The following is a list of Windows programs, various web utilities and other projects I've written / worked on that make life in ATITD a tad bit easier or in some way help the community. Please leave your thoughts, comments, concerns or flames using the link at the bottom of the page! Thanks!

R-Cubed (Rogarians RSI Reducer - Version 1.1 / All Shards)
This simple program will allow one to easily pick up grass, slate and clay. It will also do simple skill based tasks such as digging or gathering limestone. This was written to help prevent repetitive strain injury (RSI). ;)Please read the built in help before using!
Technical overview:
Basically we look at the color on the screen periodically and compare it to the stored color. Based on the check box either we move the mouse and click and wait a third of a second (333ms) or we do nothing. The skill based timer will fire once a second (1000ms). Grass, clay and slate fire every tenth of a second (100ms).
New changes including a zoom function (like O'-Niner Miner), Pause (holding down shift key) and auto pausing when the game loses focus.
Source is included for those wishing to inspect, modify and/or compile it. It's written in Delphi 7 (pascal) and compressed using UPX.
Based on code from Rogarians Macro Thingy (below).

Egypt's O'-Niner Miner (Beta Test - Version 1.2.8 / Shards: T4A, T4B)
Note: This is only for the Tale 4 mining system
This will not work with Tale 5!This program will assist or automatically work the mines and pull the right crystal (~95% to 100% success rate depending on mine type and point placement; excluding Antimony and Lithium (60-90%).
The name is a play on Miner-49er (2009 mining program).
Fully log in to the game before launching!
It handles all mine types:
- Aluminum
- Antimony (still needs A LOT of work; but again, probably better than a person can do manually)
- Copper
- Gold
- Iron
- Lead
- Lithium (still needs work; but probably better than a person can do manually...bloody ties!)
- Magnesium
- Platinum
- Silver
- Strontium
- Tin
- Titanium
- Tungsten
- Zinc
A BIG thanks goes to KCM for providing access to all mine types!
There is rough documentation included. Also, please be aware the program will call home to check for newer versions and will send back the beta version and operating system. This will NOT work if you require a web proxy to surf.

I've decided to go ahead and release the source code.
This might be of some use to other macro writers (at least for Tale 4 mining anyways).
As always if anything breaks you get to keep the pieces.

Change log:
Version 1.2.8 (current):
- Improved Aluminum Yields
- Reduced Pull Timer Delay (from 100ms to 1ms to speed up pulls)
- Changed Pull Limit Maximum to 9999 instead of 1500
- Added in MenuDelay to INI settings (adjust for slow menu drawing)
- Removed Cross hairs on Marked Crystal (speeds up pulls)
- Now Identifies Crystal to Pull in Red (based on memory game/pairs)
- Added Vista/Windows 7 OS Edition detection
- Added pull limits
- Fixed a big bug in automatic Lead mining (e.g. it didn't work on prior versions; errrooopps!)
- Fixed a bug with Platinum manual pulling (Didn't use crystal pairings)
- Saves default window position, x/y offsets and pull limit
- Rewrote "odd crystal" detection routine again (Improves Zinc, Iron, Lithium, and Platinum)
- Added save/load mine states (x/y offsets, pull count/limit/history, crystal pairs/pattern)
- Added the ability to reposition a single crystal point
- Added right click menu (save, load, toggle winshade, terminate)
- A few other tweaks / internal fixes
- Updated help text to describe new features (please read it again!)
- Fixed a bug and improved "odd crystal" detection (Improves Zinc, Iron, Lithium, and Platinum)
- Added Hue, Saturation and Luminescence information when selecting a Crystal Point
- Added point selection zoom window
- Added in Crystal Point type notification
- Improved "odd crystal" detection
- Added "winshade" mode
- Added remaining metal types: Lithium, Platinum and Antimony
- Disabled "collapsed mine/you moved routine" due to false triggers
- Small internal code cleanups
- Added log to file: debug.txt
- Initial public release
Google Map of Egypt (Shard T4A)
This map is a modified version of the Google map on the wiki. I've added a few things and made it mostly database driven. Take a look at: http://nemesis2.qx.net/atitd/.This in turn created my version of Shroomdar (below).
Shroomdar 2 - Mushroom Locations (Shards: T5A, T4B)
Shroomdar 2 (Original Shard) - http://rogarian.atitd.org/shroomdar2/Shroomdar 2 (Bastet Shard) - http://rogarian.atitd.org/shroomdar2/Bastet
ATITD Forge Zoom (All Shards)

For those of you who need it... ;) ...this small application allows you to view the forge zoomed in for easy pixel perfect alignment. The numeric keypad (numlock off) will move the mouse around by 1 pixel. Enter is a left mouse click. Delete will store the mouse location and Insert will move the mouse to the stored location (application must be focused).

Herb:aList2 (Shards: T5A and T4B)
I've updated Tlanthils wonderful javascript driven Herb:aList page to work with Tale 5A and Tale 4B. The backend is now a SQL database that dynamically generates the page on the fly. I've done several optimzations and shrunk the code to speed it up a bit. The tables are user editable (off of the main page) and I provide CSV (comma seperated values) files of the tables. Please visit the main page: http://rogarian.atitd.org/herbalist2/
Or access the pages directly:

Tale 4B Herb:aList 2 - http://rogarian.atitd.org/herbalist2/t4b_herbalist/
Local Cache Herb:aList (Shards: T4A Only)
This is a modified version of Tlanthils wonderful javascript driven Herb:aList page. A few simple changes allow it to load the image files locally instead of loading from the Wiki.(16MB small - does not have large images) - herbalist_local_v1.0.zip
(44MB large - includes large images) - full_herbalist_local_v1.0.zip
Hu an IRC (eggdrop) Bot
Hu is an eggdrop bot that runs on atitd.org and broadcasts the logged channels from both shards. He does a few other commands as well. ;) For a quick list of commands Hu supports please visit:

ATITD.org Management
I've become part of the wiki / atitd.org support team after a generous invite from FaceAnkh. =) I've helped implement some server changes on the backside that most people normally wouldn't see:- Enabled mod_deflate on Apache webserver (speed up web site)
- Installed eAccelerator on Apache webserver (speed up web site)
- Trimmed down the number of Apache modules in use (smaller memory footprint)
- Reduced the number of background processes on the server itself
- Installed the Bastet shard and Tale 5 Google Maps on the wiki
- Added Shard support for OpenID as well as other changes needed to support the shards.
- Installed the Eggdrop: Hu
- ...and other things that I've forgotten. ;) (that's part of the reason for this list)
And finally...
Rogarians Macro Thingy
Back at the end of Tale 1 and the beginning of Tale 2 I started creating "Rogarians Macro Thingy". It originally started out to help gather slate. Then it exploded into a custom (assembler like) scripting language. After rejoining the game in Tale 4 I extended the language and added an auto miner.
It allows me to write complex macros and is my development platform that spawned off R-Cubed and the O'-Niner Miner programs. Overall it's been a fun exercise in writing a programming /scripting language.

I doubt I'll ever do a public release of it.
I seem to have more fun playing "around" the game than "in" the game; but it's fun none the less. ;)
Thanks for looking,
