I am not sure where to leave a comment on this matter. I live in China and need a good proxy. My wife and I were happy with Myentunnel then suddenly it began to not work any longer. It may connect for a moment then the key turns yellow and we get a fatal error message, server sent disconnect message. Been getting this for a week or so.

Is there something we can do to get it working again? Does any thing needed to be updated? Any ports> Not sure what to do.

Thanks

I'm impressed! MyEnTunnel is one impressive piece of software. I'm using the Unicode version for remote SQL administration with HeidiSQL an it works just spotlessly.
The only thing I believe you could do better would be a little quickstart guide for absolute beginners to set up a basic configuration.

thank you for this great piece of software. It works just fine. The only option that it lacks and I guess it's a must for most of the users is proxy support.

thank you

Ramzi

I'm using the unicode version and very happy with it. The only feature I find lacking (it shouldn't be hard to add, I think) is not being able to specify a path for plink. It must be in the same directory. I have a full putty folder with all the tools, and would like to use that plink (with my keys already defined), but don't want to mix the to programs in the same directory.

Hi,

First of all, really awesome work. I've always been searching for something like this for about a year now. Got one big problem though: I registered the MyEnTunnel service (using the shortcuts) and each time I start it up, it'll cause several other services to crash. MyEnTunnel itself seems to work fine because the tunnel exists.

The services that gets killed are: Windows audio, DHCP client, Windows Event log, TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper and Security Center. I'm running Windows 7 32bit Professional Edition, .Net 2.0.

Thanks,

Levy

Really good piece of software, nicely laid out and a pleasure to use. A few features I would request though are:

- Ability to connect to several different profiles in one instance of the app
- Command switch to hide the app on start
- Ability to specify PPK key in the GUI

That said, thanks for the active development so far Nemesis!

I find MyEntunnel not work on Windows 7

I have an issue where MyEnTunnel doens't detect when a tunnel isn't created. Plink can sometimes connect to a host but doens't always successfully create a tunnel witch leaves MyEnTunnel hung with no tunnel and not trying to reconnect. there are several reasons a tunnel maynot be created apon connection to an ssh server.

1. the ports maybe in use already by a dead sshd from a previous connection....

2. or a wrong password or user.

MyENTunnel is not trapping and compensating for these issues and is reporting fault ups.

if you could kindly fix this I would be greatful

Thank you for this great application!
I have a question of the setting in 'tunnels', I saw the screen spot here, but it still cannot be conectted with my another computer in enthernet.
With Putty -ssh-tunnels(’Locals ports accept connections from other hosts‘allowed),it works fine.
Can myentunnel does this?
Thank you for your attention.
