MyEnTunnel 3.4.1 Released
Created at 09:46 AM on Thursday March 26th, 2009

A new version of MyEnTunnel has been released that fixes a long standing bug dealing with named pipes. Additionally, the profile menu option is now available even if no profiles exist.

(Note: The unicode version does not contain the fix; I will try to build 3.5.3 shortly.)

Thankyou for another great release. So far so good.

Few requests if I may please.
1. If possible, can you pop up MyEnTunnel window on left click instead of right click-> show please?
2. Is it possible to keep current connections intact while adding new ones or disconnecting one of the existing ones? It would be great if tunnels work independently.

Hello Shyam,

It's possible to make it toggle visibility on a left click. The main reason I didn't make it that way was to avoid bringing the application to the top and getting accidental clicks. MyEnTunnel was originally designed to be "out-of-the-way" and simply run in the background. I'll add an option to the ini to enable that functionality in the next release; but it won't be enabled by default.

Multi-server has been the most requested feature since I released MyEnTunnel. However it would require a major rewrite to implement it, so don't expect that feature to be added any time soon. =)

Thankyou for your reply.

Regarding point 1, 'toggle' option by default disabled is just fine.

Regarding implementating them, please take your time. As such your tool
fulfills my purpose and I am grateful to you.

Once again, thanks for your time and a great tool for FREE.

Is there a way to send the log output to a file. I am having a sporatic problem where it locks up when trying to reconnect. When this happens I cannot get the menu when I right click. My only option at this point is to kill the process and restart it. I was hoping the log might give me some more info as to what might be going on.
Thanks.

John,

Currently there isn't a way to log to a file. Would adding a "hidden" option like "logfile=c:\mylog.txt" in the INI file work?
